Authentic Roman Coin

Marcus Aurelius Probus was Roman emperor from 276 to 282AD. He was an active and successful general as well as a conscientious administrator. In his six year reign, he secured prosperity for the inner provinces while withstanding repeated invasions on almost every sector of the frontier. Probus also used his troops to drain land, erect buildings, build bridges and plant vineyards. This industriousness led to his downfall, as the troops ended up revolting against him.
