Star of Olympus

What a great looking star of olympus. Made of stainless steel it has a pewter oxidation appearance. This pendant has a solid feel without being too heavy. It would look great on a long or short chain or cord. Very versatile. It has a subtle black cubic zirconia in the center.

The star of olympus is a stylized interpretation of the Star of Vergina also know as the Vergina Sun. This rayed solar symbol first appeared in ancient Greece between 600-200 BC. It was the historical royal symbol of ancient Macedonia and has been commonly used among Macedonian Greeks since the 1980s. The rays represent the gods and goddesses of Olympus.
