Faceted Black Spinel

These deep rich black gemstones are Black Spinel which are relatively unknown and are desired for their opaque jet-black color and their brilliant shine. Black spinel is considered to be a rare gemstone and is also one of the rarest minerals that comes from the Spinel family. Its deep inky color makes it a wonderful choice to be worn alone or layered with other chains or strands and it can also hold most pendants. It's a very attractive neutral look that is a little edgy and a little exotic.

Strand is closed with a sterling silver clasp and has a sterling chain extender that can be adjusted from 19 to 20.75 inches. Please see below for a size reference.
