Tuareg Ebony Inlaid

Long kite shaped dangle with fine traditional etching and ebony inlay. Tuareg use fine silver for their distinctive ancestral jewelry.

The Tuareg are a large Berber people who mostly inhabit the Sahara in a vast area covering many countries. Historically they are nomadic pastoralists, which means they move their livestock with them. They still manage to keep their rich culture alive along with their society of clan hierarchies including nobles, clerics, craftsmen and servants. Their jewelry is appreciated and recognized world wide.
