Larimar is the wonderful gemstone of the Caribbean. Found only in the Dominican Republic from an extinct volcano deep within the country's remote wilderness. It's loved for its pleasing range of tones from light blue to darker blue to greenish blue. Mother of pearl is the iridescent, organic material that forms the inner layer of some mollusc.
