Mabe pearls are half pearls that are cultivated in the interior of a mollusk's shell, a process of building nacre that takes approximately three years. Nacre is the beautiful, inner iridescent layer of shells. St John opal are rocks that are found on remote beaches around the island. Together they make a unique and tranquil combination.
