Larimar is a very rare gemstone found only in distinct volcanos in isolated mountain areas of Dominican Republic. Found originally on the seashore, it was soon realized to have been washed down stream beds into the Caribbean sea. Reminiscent of beautiful blue waters and sky, thus, the Gem of the Caribbean.
