Siwa Shell Tears

Big and beautiful - natural Siwa Shell tears set in sterling silver bezels and dangling lightly from sterling earwires. These are very lovely and creamy white shells with distinctive feathery swirls that is the signature trademark of authentic siwa shells.

Discovered on the seabed in the shallow tropical waters of Thailand and Indonesia, these shells are the protective door found at the opening of the Turban Snail’s shell. Towards the end of the snail’s natural life, the shell detaches and sinks to the seabed. Although each spiral is similar in pattern, as with all organic gemstones, each one will vary slightly.
