Crystal's Larimar Set

Very special, lovingly created handmade necklace and earring set of Larimar faceted stones, sterling silver twist wire and sterling chain. Crafted by Crystal Allen, a long time Caravan Gallery employee, buyer and collaborator.

Larimar is the beloved gemstone of the Caribbean. It is found only in one place in the entire world - on the beautiful island of Dominican Republic. It is mined in the Bahoruco Mountains from an extinct volcano. As seen here, it is mostly valued for its lovely shades of blue that resemble our sea and skies.

The sterling chain measures 20.5 inches. The larimar triplet adds another inch to the overall length. Please see below for a size reference.
