St John Chaney

A beautiful orb of midnight blue Kyanite tops a locally found piece of ceramic pottery known as Chaney. These historic shards of China have been found all over the Virgin Islands, mostly on beaches and sugar mill plantations. Treasure hunters of all ages love to hunt for and collect these fine little works of art. In fact, the name Chaney comes from the local children who collected them and used them as play money, literally China money.
