Shark Tooth and Ammonite

A very dynamic pendant that you will not see every day! A smooth and captivating fossillized shark tooth, perfectly encased in sterling silver for absolute protection, paired with a pyritized ammonite. This is a fossil ammonite which is an extinct sea creature from the Jurassic Period. As the ammonite fossilized, the shell was replaced by pyrite, an iron based mineral. Both specimens have been lightly polished to enhance their natural beauty.
