Selenite Tower

Selenite is a calcium sulfate mineral that is the crystallized transparent variety of Gypsum. It has an attractive soft white appearance and a satin smooth texture. Selenite forms in caves and mines and can become the size of telephone poles! The Naica mine in Chihuahua, Mexico has a magnificent cavern filled with these white crystals. Known as the Cave of Crystals, this cave holds the largest selenite crystal formations in the world.

Selenite can be found in Mexico, Morocco, Brazil, the United States, and Poland. It is revered as a purifying and cleansing crystal by those who use crystals for healing and energy work. It is referred to as 'liquid light' and is said to be able to 'cleanse' and recharge other crystals and stones.

These small towers are 2.5 inches tall and each one is uniquely different. Please see below for a size reference.
