These smooth inlaid pieces of deep red sponge coral are the perfect complement to this ornate sterling silver scroll work. The coral is inlaid within the sterling silver circle. The sterling silver chain is included.

Sponge coral gets its name from the holes created by polyps that live within the coral. Once they leave the coral the holes remain. Sponge coral is predominantly found in the South China Sea and is a non-endangered species. It is loved for its bright red color.
