Handmade on St John by local artist Tom Krall, an amazingly detailed 14 karat sand dollar pendant. You can see and feel the realistic details. Definitely made with love and respect. Tom Krall is a devoted swimmer and diver. His love for the ocean is revealed in his jewelry.

Sand dollars are burrowing sea urchins. They are often found together on the ocean floor. After their demise, they are washed ashore and their skeletons are bleached white by the sun. Their appearance reminds one of an old silver coin, thus the name sand dollar. Other popular names are sea biscuit, sea cookie and pansy shells!
