Tuareg Carnelian Necklace

This fine silver and carnelian pendant is handstrung with onyx and red glass beads. The pendant is handmade with fine hand tools in the traditional manner of the world acclaimed silversmiths from Niger, Africa.

The beaded necklace measures 20 inches, the pendant itself is 2.5 inches long and 3 inches at its widest. The artists that create Tuareg jewelry are taught the art by their fathers and grandfathers and live within the artisan tribes of Niger.
