Anasazi Shard Ring

This unique and one-of-a-kind ring is created from a shard of a centuries old Anasazi Clay Pot. It is set in a sterling silver bezel with an adjustable band.

The Anasazi people are known to the Navajo as the Ancient Ones. Inhabitants of a region from Arizona to Colorado, they flourished in the American southwest until the 1300s. Either because of climate changes or pressure from other cultures, the Anasazi society collapsed and its population disappeared.

The earliest pottery had black designs on white or light gray backgrounds, later evolving into reddish brown ware in the 13th Century. This antique shard in sterling silver was valued at $140.00. It is now being offered for $85.00. The size is easily adjustable from 7 to 9, and can be opened to accomodate a size 10. Please see below for a size reference.
